FAQ
A few helpful notes for making your way to Miami and celebrating with us. We will keep adding details here as the weekend gets closer.
Will the ceremony be outdoors?
Yes! Our wedding will take place mostly outdoors in the gardens of the Villa. Please bring a light jacket or sweater just in case it cools off.
What is the dress code?
Our wedding is Black Tie Optional. Tuxedos and formal gowns are welcomed, while dark suits and elevated cocktail dresses are equally appropriate. As Villa Woodbine is a historic mansion and garden venue, we kindly recommend avoiding stiletto or narrow heels, as certain outdoor and historic surfaces may be uneven or delicate. Block heels, wedges, or heel protectors are encouraged for comfort and ease of movement throughout the venue.
For our Welcome Party, we encourage summer cocktail attire!
Where is the Welcome Party?
The Welcome Party will be on Friday, October 2nd at Sip Sip on the rooftop of the Mayfair House in Coconut Grove from 4–7pm.
Will there be food at the Welcome Party?
We will be serving light bites and drinks at the Welcome Party, but we strongly encourage you make a dinner reservation for after the party. We have some great recommendations on our Recommendations page.
Where should I stay?
We will share hotel and neighborhood recommendations on the Recommendations page. Coconut Grove, Coral Gables, Brickell, and South Beach are all worth considering depending on the kind of Miami weekend you want.
Are children invited to the wedding?
As much as we love the little ones, our wedding is an adult-only affair.
Can I take photos during the ceremony?
We kindly ask that you put away your phones and leave it to the professionals.
Will there be parking available?
Yes! There is plenty of parking and complimentary valet.
Will transportation be provided?
We will not be providing busses, but Uber, Lyft, and Waymo are readily available in Miami. We strongly suggest trying Waymo to get the Barron Roth experience! 🤠
I have dietary restrictions, who should I notify?
Please let us know when you submit your RSVP and we will be happy to notify the chef!
Are you accepting gifts?
Your presence is truly the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to contribute to our honeymoon fund, we will be accepting cards at the wedding, or you may use the digital cash registry. Please visit the Registry page on our website for more information.
What will the weather be like in Miami?
October in Miami is warm, tropical, and beautiful. Guests can expect temperatures in the mid-80s during the day with warm evenings. We recommend lightweight formal attire and checking the forecast closer to the wedding weekend.
